Dr. Michelle Deal, Director of Learning Technologies Research & Development at Landmark College
Dr. Deal is an accomplished educator and researcher with an extensive 30-year background in education, having designed and/or taught a wide array of courses across the disciplines at large and small colleges. Dr. Deal’s current work at Landmark College focuses on supporting neurodiverse learners and enhancing accessibility in education using technology. She is a dedicated advocate for inclusive education and continues to contribute to the field through her research, teaching and leadership roles.
Edison Jun, High School Senior at Capital Innovations Academy and a DSPS student at Sacramento City College
Edison excels in physics and public speaking and enjoys creating stop-motion videos. Despite his challenges, he effectively uses coping skills to manage his workload. Edison values AI as a powerful tool for providing prompts, corrections, and precise guidance to enhance his academic skills and manage his executive functioning challenges. Passionate about combating climate change, he is pursuing a career in civil and environmental engineering.
